What an agent actually is, in plain English

An AI agent isn't a chatbot. It's software that looks at a situation, decides what to do, takes the action, and reports back — without you in the loop. Think of it as hiring a part-time employee who works 24/7, never forgets, and costs less per month than a single dinner out.
